(3)Locations in piping systems subject to thermal expansion, mechanical vibration, or external loads like seismic activity.
3.Fluid Transport Systems Requiring High Integrity:
(1)Piping for hazardous or toxic fluids e.g., acids, alkalis, flammable gases.
(2)Piping for high-purity fluids e.g., pharmaceuticals, food processing - material compatibility and smooth bore are crucial.
4.Areas Requiring Frequent Disassembly for Inspection or Maintenance:
Although the welded joint is permanent, the flange-to-flange connection allows for disassembly of equipment or pipe sections.
