Pressure Rating Match:Select blind flanges matching pipeline pressure (e.g., Class 150, PN20), avoiding overpressure failure (per ASME B16.5, GB/T 9123).
Material Selection:For corrosive media (acids, alkalis, brine): use stainless/alloy steel (e.g., 316L for chloride resistance).
Sealing Surface Inspection:Before installation: clean sealing surfaces (RF/FF/TG) of scratches/impurities.During installation: tighten bolts evenly (cross - pattern), use torque wrench in stages (e.g., 50 - 100 N·m per specification) to avoid uneven load leakage.
Pressure - Bearing Operation Safety:When working under pressure: depressurize first (pipeline pressure ≤0), operate by certified personnel, wear PPE (goggles, acid - resistant gloves), following GB 30871 for petrochemical blind - flange operations.
