180 Degree Stainless Steel Elbow, also called return bend, is widely used to reverse pipeline flow direction. We supply long radius (LR) and short radius (SR) types in 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 321 and 2205 duplex stainless steel. Industrial pickled finish or sanitary mirror polishing optional, compliant with ASME B36.19, EN and DIN. Suitable for chemical, food, pharmaceutical, water treatment and seawater piping systems.

A1: A 180° stainless steel elbow, also named return bend, is a pipe fitting that turns the fluid flow back 180 degrees. It is commonly used for heat exchangers, cooling loops and compact piping layouts.
A2: Long radius elbow: Radius = 1.5 × pipe OD, lower flow resistance, most widely used. Short radius elbow: Radius = 1.0 × pipe OD, for limited installation space, higher pressure drop.
A3: Regular grades: 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 321, 310S, 2205 duplex stainless steel. Nickel alloy materials can be customized on request.
A4: Yes. Sanitary 180 elbows with mirror polishing, smooth inner surface and no dead corners. Ideal for CIP/SIP cleaning in food, beverage and pharmaceutical lines.
A5: Main standards: ASME B36.19, ASME B36.10, EN 10253, DIN. Custom non-standard sizes are acceptable.
A6: Weld end (butt weld) is standard. Sanitary tri-clamp, threaded and other custom ends are available upon request.
