Slip-On Flanges are widely used in low-pressure, low-temperature, and non-cyclic service piping systems. Common application scenarios include: plant cooling water systems, fire water lines, low-pressure compressed air pipelines, and various non-critical process lines. However, due to their lower fatigue strength compared to Weld Neck (WN) flanges, they are not recommended for high-temperature, high-pressure, severe thermal cycling, or alternating load conditions.
