SDFL
The 304, 316 stainless steel chemical pipeline blind flange is a solid or ring-type closing component used to blank off pipe ends, vessel nozzles and valve openings in chemical piping systems. Manufactured in 304 and 316 stainless steel, the blind flange is machined from forged blanks with a precision-finished surface and drilled hole patterns that match the mating flange standard. Because chemical pipeline layouts frequently require dimensions outside standard catalogs, this blind flange is produced as a non-standard customization: the factory machines each order to the customer's drawing, including outside diameter, thickness, bolt-hole circle and sealing face configuration.
It is manufactured by Shangdian Flange Pipe Fittings Co., Ltd., a Wenzhou-based factory established in 2010, where closed-die hot forging, solution heat treatment, 5-axis CNC machining and final inspection are completed in-house. The plant's program covers industrial heavy-duty flanges and sanitary high-purity flanges, and its products are exported to more than 30 countries.

The blind flange is supplied in 304 and 316 stainless steel. 304 stainless steel covers general chemical service where media are mildly corrosive, while 316 stainless steel is specified where higher resistance to chlorides and process chemicals is required. The material program also extends to duplex and super duplex grades, 904L and nickel alloys including Inconel, Incoloy, Monel 400 and Hastelloy series for severe corrosion and high-temperature conditions. The plant's mature special-alloy processing line handles these grades with dedicated forging and heat-treatment parameters.
Each order starts from verified raw material: every batch receives 100% PMI spectral inspection, and the chemical composition is traceable to the original mill melt number. The blank is produced by closed-die hot forging and solution heat treatment, then machined on 5-axis machining centers and high-precision lathes to the drawing dimensions. Dimensional inspection follows international standard tolerances, and final quality control covers dimensional testing, non-destructive testing and surface defect checks. Penetrant, ultrasonic and radiographic testing are available on request, and third-party inspection witnessed by SGS, BV or TUV is supported. The plant holds TS pressure pipe licensing, ISO 9001/14001/45001, CE-PED, AD2000 and EAC certification.
Full custom production is available per customer drawing, sample or project requirement, including non-standard dimensions, pressure ratings and sealing face configurations such as RF, FF, RTJ and groove faces. Laser marking applies a customer logo, part number, batch number or project identification. OEM and ODM services are offered, with customer designs and trademarks protected. Export shipments use wooden cases with dedicated protective caps on sealing faces, and a full set of export documents, material test reports, certificates and packing lists is provided.
The 304, 316 stainless steel blind flange is used in chemical and petrochemical pipelines, pharmaceutical plants, waste gas systems, power plants, shipbuilding and water treatment, for blanking off pipe ends, vessel nozzles and valve openings during maintenance, commissioning and system isolation.
