Chemical Pipeline Cases

(1) High-pressure Reactor Pipeline System
Typical media: Hydrogen (hydrogenation reaction), Ethylene (polymerization reaction)
Technical solutions:
Chromium-molybdenum steel A182 F11/F22 (resistant to hydrogen-induced cracking)
Fully automatic GTAW welding + 100% RT inspection
Matched with Inconel 718 metal wound gaskets
Example: The outlet pipeline of the reactor in the polyethylene plant, with a design pressure of 6.3 MPa @ 350℃
(2) Transportation of Corrosive Media
Special working conditions:
98% sulfuric acid pipeline: Hastelloy C276 flange + PTFE lining
Caustic soda evaporation system: A182 F317L ultra-low carbon stainless steel

Special working condition solutions

(1) Piping under alternating load
Technical measures:
The radius of the arc in the neck transition zone shall be ≥ 10mm (to reduce the stress concentration factor).
Fatigue analysis shall be carried out in accordance with Appendix F of ASME B31.3.
A hydraulic bolt tensioner shall be used to ensure uniform loading.
(2) Deep - water offshore engineering
Deep - sea pipeline connection:
Integrated design of the cathodic protection system
6DX ray inspection to replace conventional RT
Ultra - deep quenching treatment on the flange surface (hardness HRC55+)
