PL Flange
SDFL
This PN40 plate flange is manufactured from 2205 duplex stainless steel, which features a dual ferrite-austenite metallurgical structure. The material combines the pressure resistance of ferritic steel and the corrosion resistance of austenitic steel, serving as an upgraded option for standard 304 and 316L stainless steel flanges in high-pressure and corrosive piping systems. The product complies with HG20592 and EN1092-1 standards, and is designed for chemical processing, brine transmission and other demanding industrial operations. Produced via solution heat forging, the flange is available in sizes from DN25 to DN2000, with ready stock covering DN25 to DN500 for standard requirements.

The 2205 duplex stainless steel provides resistance to chloride corrosion, acid and alkali erosion, and pitting, making it compatible with brine, strong acid liquids and corrosive media in fertilizer production. The material exhibits low magnetic permeability, which supports use in pipelines connected to magnetically sensitive chemical equipment. The dual-phase structure delivers higher mechanical strength than standard austenitic stainless steels, supporting stable operation under pressure and temperature cycling conditions.
The flange features a thickened integrated design with a PN40 pressure rating, supporting a maximum working pressure of 4.0MPa for high-pressure circulating media. The sealing surface is processed via precision CNC lapping, with a flatness tolerance of 0.03mm, and can be paired with high-pressure spiral wound gaskets. All 2205 duplex flanges undergo solution heat treatment to stabilize the internal metallurgical structure and reduce the risk of stress cracking under long-term high pressure. Full penetration welding is applied for structural stability in field installation.
These flanges are deployed across a range of industrial sectors. In petrochemical and pharmaceutical facilities, they are used for reaction tank piping and process lines handling corrosive media. They also support brine transmission systems in salt chemical plants, process pipelines in fertilizer facilities, and corrosive sewage lines in water treatment projects. Additional applications include waste gas systems, power plant piping, and shipbuilding fluid systems.
Each flange undergoes raw material chemical composition testing, pressure burst testing, and corrosion resistance immersion testing before delivery. Third-party corrosion test reports are available upon request for commercial procurement projects. The product comes with a 24-month heavy-duty quality warranty. Custom processing for non-standard thicknesses and special dimensions is supported, with CNC machining covering diameters from DN15 to DN4000. The production system holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, CE and TS certifications.
8-10 Days.
Standard stock sizes cover DN25 to DN500 for PN40 plate flanges. Custom production is available for sizes from DN25 to DN2000 for general requirements, and up to DN4000 for large-diameter projects.
Standard delivery includes factory inspection reports covering material composition and dimensional verification. Third-party corrosion test reports, pressure test certificates and material traceability documents can be provided upon request for industrial projects.
