SO Flange
SDFL
The ASTM A182 F304 PN10 RF slip on flange is a forged stainless steel pipe fitting designed for low-pressure piping systems with a 1.0MPa pressure rating, manufactured in accordance with GB/T9124 standard. This flange comes with an integrated short hub that enables double fillet welding on both the inner and outer sides of the hub, delivering higher structural rigidity compared to flat plate flanges. Pipes slide into the hub bore before welding on both sides, which reduces pipe deflection and leakage risk during long-term operation. Produced via solid round steel hot forging technology without stamping or splicing, the flange features uniform metal grain structure. Its raised face (RF) is processed by CNC lathe to achieve a smooth surface finish, compatible with rubber and PTFE non-metal gaskets. Made of F304 austenitic stainless steel, the material provides resistance to atmospheric rust, fresh water corrosion and mild neutral fluid corrosion, suitable for general indoor and outdoor industrial environments. Regular sizes from DN15 to DN300 are kept in stock for fast delivery. After pickling and passivation treatment, a dense protective film forms on the surface to extend service life.

The base material of this flange conforms to ASTM A182 F304 austenitic stainless steel specification. The material contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel, which forms a passive chromium oxide film on the surface in oxidizing environments. This composition provides resistance to atmospheric rust, fresh water corrosion and mild neutral fluid corrosion, making it suitable for general indoor and outdoor industrial environments. Material grades can be adjusted according to project requirements, with options including 304L, 316, 316L and other stainless steel grades listed in the parameter table.
This slip on flange adopts solid round steel hot forging forming process, without stamping or splicing structure. The hot forging process refines the internal metal grain structure and eliminates internal porosity. Advanced CNC turning and drilling equipment controls dimensional accuracy to micron level, including bolt hole position and sealing face flatness. The integrated short hub structure is forged as a single piece, ensuring consistent structural strength.
All flanges undergo pickling and passivation treatment as standard. This process removes surface oxide scale and forms a dense chromium-rich passive film on the metal surface, which enhances corrosion resistance and extends service life. Additional surface treatment options are available for different working environments.
With PN10 pressure rating, this flange is adapted to 1.0MPa working pressure scenarios, including municipal water supply and drainage, factory cooling circulating water systems, commercial HVAC systems, fire protection low-pressure pipelines, food factory clean water piping, and general workshop compressed air systems. For higher pressure requirements, upgraded pressure grades are available via customization.
The RF sealing face is compatible with rubber, PTFE, non-asbestos and other non-metal gaskets, suitable for water, gas and mild corrosive fluid media. The flange can be welded with matching stainless steel pipes, with double-sided welding structure to ensure connection strength.
As a manufacturer with 12 years of stainless steel flange forging experience, the factory operates an independent PMI spectral inspection laboratory, and conducts full material composition testing on each batch to verify material grade. Finished products undergo dimensional inspection, hydraulic leakage test and air pressure test before delivery. All production processes comply with ISO 9001 quality management system, and products support third-party inspection by SGS, BV or TUV.
Regular sizes from DN15 to DN300 are kept in stock, supporting mixed batch orders and urgent order shipment within 7 days. Sample orders of 1 piece are acceptable, and bulk full-container orders receive priority production scheduling. Dual production workshops enable synchronous production to support large-volume orders.
Eight categories of customization services are available for commercial procurement projects:
Custom machining of non-standard outer diameter, hub height, thickness and bolt hole pitch
Multiple sealing face options: RF, FF, MFM, TG ring joint surface
Optional surface finishes: pickling passivation, mirror electrolytic polishing, anti-rust oil coating

A slip on flange has an integrated short hub with double internal and external welds, which provides higher structural rigidity and less deformation under medium pressure. A plate flange only has a single outside weld, and is typically applied to ultra-low pressure large-diameter pipelines.
These flanges are produced in compliance with multiple standards including ASME B16.5, GB/T9124, EN 1092-1, GOST, JIS B2220 and TS2733E31-2022, with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 system certifications.
Yes, third-party inspection by SGS, BV, TUV and other authorized agencies is supported, with inspection items covering material composition, dimensional accuracy and pressure tightness.
The minimum order quantity is 1 piece for sample evaluation. For bulk customized orders, the MOQ is determined according to specific specifications and processing difficulty.
